Yeh...I probably could have built it a little better but I'm not much of a builder...so I guess it will do!

Got my rope seal in yesterday..

And my insulation in today..

I just got this mineral wool at mcmaster carr...it was $245 total for 23 sheets and $45 for freight charge. So it kinda killed the budget...

yeah I have checked that out too. I just ordered all my sheet metal today. 5 - 4'x8' sheets of 18 ga. galv. & 5 - 4'x'8 sheets of 22 ga. galv. for $340. It was the best deal locally for me. all i need now is insulation & wiring.

So I gotta dilemma...I just got my elements and noticed they are straight up and down and from the mounting plate to tip of wire end is 4"

My floor is 4" deep...how do I rig this one up? Is there some boxes you can buy to mount them to the side of the oven, suspended off of the floor, and covering the wiring that attaches to it?

I used 4 11/16 junction boxes. Just bend the wire tab only to 90 degrees and it will work fine.
