oven stuff
getting my medium sized oven built. it is 4'WX6'HX2'D i have a few questions
where is best to place the elements? where is best to place the thermocouple? do i need a fan? if so what speed and location would be best? does the oven need venting? and if so do you just vent it out and let the heat escape? thanks for your help, its coming along nicely so far for a cheapie.

I would let gravity work for you & place the elements on the bottom. yes use a fan to circulate * equalize the temp. a hogh temp. blower with a low cfm would suffice for you, something like 100cfm would be plenty. place the thermocouple somewhere in the middle of the height of the oven. some folks vent their ovens & some don't. u can rig up a vent with parts from the Home Depot for ~ $5.
