Default One Oven being built and contemplating

Okay, this is my thoughts. So I'd like a bit of input from some of you guru's.
I have the one oven that I'm almost done with and my progress is posted here. It is 3x3x6 ft. Now while building this one, I got to thinking about it and am contemplating stating another one, but smaller. A 3x3x3 ft. Why? Well, I figured that if I have small items to coat, like A-arms, valve covers, brackets, etc., I could use the smaller oven for these, as it wouldn't take near as long to heat and for the sake of doing one or two small items as opposed to an oven full, which probably won't happen to often. OR
do I just try to set up the one that I am currently building to do small jobs with a divider? No sure I fancy this one.

Now before you answer, my dilemma is this. I already have my elements attached to the bottom of the oven and wired w/sheet metal already installed. But aside from that, I built the bigger one to do long/tall items or several racks of items, like for a small company (which is waiting on me to get this one done). I think I covered everything, what are your thoughts? I would also like to get this going as soon as I can, either way.

Thanks, JT

why not just build a removable wall that you can put in your big oven that cuts it in half?

Given the option I would have a smaller oven for smaller batches and have it bench mounted for convenience.

I'm keeping my kitchen oven around for this same reason. I can still fit a swing-arm or anything smaller into it. Plus you'll spend more money in building another than buying one out of your local classifieds. I got a steal on a 2003 model 36" kenmore for $75. You just have to keep your eye open every day.

Crimson: Thanks for the input. To answer your question. If I divided my oven with a wall, I would only have one and a half feet to work with, as I opted to build a 3x3x6. But a divider has been considered.

RobsPCing: I have the old oven I got at a yard sale and it works, eeeh, okay. But it won't hold the temp at the same spot on the dial every time, making it a pain. The reason I'm not keeping the oven, is it's to small and I tend to bump items I've coated and burn myself! Yea, I know, "dummy!"

I did a little checking around today and found that I can get my steel cheaper then I got the first batch. About half the money. And I think I'm going to be able to get the insulation locally. So building looks better all the time. Just don't have to be made a heavy duty as the big one.

Still contemplating.....
