Default Any ideas for a door latch?

I ordered a few from Mcmaster-Carr but they ended up being too small. Can someone clue me in on a good door latch.

Ovens comming along, pictures comming soon.

I have a latch that I'm making for mine, but I guess it would depend on your door setup and how you want it to work. Mine is pretty simple to make and should work good and could work on about any door, I would think. Into making your own?

Go to the hardware store and tell them you need a latch for a barn door.
They are metal, have adjustable rod length that you can set to tighten or loosen your seal. Very easy to install, screw on or weld on.

If your unsure of what I'm talking about let me know and I'll post some pictures of my oven latches.

Nice find.
Do you use a bolt or an eye as the catch?

Nice. That's what I need. McMaster has similar latches, but that size goes for more than $20. I'm checking into shipping costs for several, just waiting for an answer.

Thanks for the link!

That looks like the ones I bought from McMaster, turns out they are too small for my door...

Here is a rough drawing of the latch that I'm thinking of making for my doors. Hope you can figure it out from my drawing.

This could also be used across the front ( for dbl doors) or on the side for one door.
