Thread: Ive started finally

    Default Ive started finally

Im ordering parts left and right lately, got a start while in the lab today. had to run the sheer most of the day so its a slow start but i have half the welding done on the frame. Im using 1/16"- 1 1/4" square stock. Along with the 2' mineral insulation that'll give me a 3/4" space for more insulation with a free floating inner skin. the doorway will be the only area that should xfer much heat. I'll get pictures up when there's something worth seeing. Right now everything is being tig welded (for the hell of it, im in no rush right now)

Im finalizing size at 6'x3'x3' inside. so it'l be 76"x40"x40" for the outside.

I'm told that an unmodified Harley HardTail frame is 87" long.

A guy that I know rides Harley's. So I asked him about their length. He said that with my oven being the same as the one in this thread, that without the forks, it would fit. Guess time will tell.

Atroxer, you got any pictures of your oven. mine are at http://s80.photobucket.com/albums/j1...20Coat%20Oven/
Have look and see how close we were thinking.
