Can you post a picture of this element? Does it have the wattage embossed on the element somewhere?
If you know the wattage, I can help you decide what size of an oven it would be able to heat up....

from what i have been told , an oven element is made to work in a high heat environment , a dryer element is cooled from fresh air flowing through the element , i know because i have a bunch of elements that come from a central heating system wich is different shape but same type of element. i have been told that they will burn quickly but i did not try them yet
