Default Powder Coating oven parts.

I have several oven parts that need painted. Would it be OK to powder coat these or would I be better off using hi temp stove paint?

Probably best to use HiTemp wood stove or BBQ paint.

I think I would also use hi-temp paint but why not use these parts (if possiable) to test other powders or a ceramic coating. I will do this from time to time and did test that backer baord that some of the guys were talking about while making money coating other parts for other people. Again depends on the part and so far hi-temp paint works best for me at this point

Its a few duct parts that I couldn't do out of galvanized because they had to be TIG welded. They will see a steady cook temp same as the inside of the oven.

You might want to consider 1200 deg engine paint as well. I am testing it in my oven to see how it holds up. My sheet steel is bare and not galvanized, so I figured I would give it a try. I'll post the outcome after a few batches of testing.

All the parts that needed painted was done with a barbeque grill hi-temp paint good to 1200 degrees. I only had 2 small fan ducts that was fabed out of cold rolled steel...
