Default R value of 2" mineral wool?

i'm too lazy to look it up (and i was here reading anyway )...

what is the R value of the mineral wool? debating what to use in my oven walls. i believe that the regular (unfaced) fiberglass is fine up to 500 degrees w/o a problem, and the 3.5" is R13.

polystyrene (rigid foam) should also be capable of handling the temps, is R13 at 2". i could add another 1.5" foam to fill in the full cavity for another R7 (i think, forgot what 1.5" rating is).

i'm just making a little guy, 3x3x6, horizontal configuration, framed w/ metal 2x4's.

thanks
Dave

Also found this:

Mineral Wool is spun from mineral mining waste into felts, blankets and batts. Post-industrial recycled content averages 75% in keeping with the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) guidelines. Its rating is commonly R19 to R26 and costs about 50’ per sq.ft.

I don't think the price per foot is current. 2"x 24"x 48" at McMaster-Carr runs $10.67 for non-backed. Pretty rigid stuff. I'm using it in my 3x3x6 footer as well. Going to test it today..

Yeah, .50/sq.ft. is a good current price (I actually got it a little cheaper locally). McMaster-Carr is just high...
