Default walk in Oven shoes???

Ok, all with walkin oven's, have you found a brand, or type of shoes that won't melt on the floor? My floor is 1/8" plate steel. I made it thich for supporting engine etc on stands. But, the floor melts my shoes when I go in to load her up, or take parts out. Just wondering if anyone has found a longer lasting brand.

I wonder, any way to easily attach a strip of wood to the soles of your shoes? Might look a little funny but would certainly withstand the heat without melting.

Of course you could get a pair of wooden shoes from Holland

Try some golf shoes or football spikes You may even look for a slip-on shoe cover that can handle the temp.

Just try to stay away from Chinese rubber. Their rubber really sucks. I've burned the bottoms of a couple of shoes made in, of course, China. Real junk. Try a good work boot. Red wings are made here and are pretty good shoes/boots.
