Default do I need

do i need to seal the corners and seams on my oven with caulk or somthing if so what should I use?

i would say yes. i plan to use some high temp silicone, or some other similar high temp sealant.

granted, if it is TOO tight, you will probably need a vent. i was thinking about that the other day....increase air temp in a sealed box, gonna build pressure.

I used high-temp mortar. comes in a caulking tube & is $3/tube. nice & easy. rated for something like 1200 F.
