I'd like to build my oven so that I can also cure ceramic coatings. Which means temps of up to 700*F.
My construction will be 18ga sheetmetal inside, steel studs, and 4" of mineral wool insulation. The inner dimensions are 2.5'x3'x5' and I'm planning on using 3 x 7500Watt oven heating elements. Are there any special considerations when building an oven for these higher temps? Will the elements be OK? |

No need ot go to 700+. I cure ceramic at 550. The Satin Black coating needs a little hotter, but even at 550-600, it will mostly cure, then heat by usage will final cure the product. But ceramic, 500 is all you need
