Question Metal Stud Frame

does anyone weld these metal studs together or just rivot?

use a self tapping flat headed screw. Its fast and easy

Sure because the head of the screw is real flat. I personelly am screwing the sheet metal on also. The reason is there will be wire behind it and if I have to take it apart i can do so with out a lot of trouble. Self tapping screws are just easier, but I am sure there are guys who will disagree and thats fine. This is my preference but doesn't make it right for some one else. Good Luck

I'm welding mine, just remember to have good ventalation when welding galvanized! I welded just cause I like welding stuff, I'm just welding the frame togather- I'm also screwing on the sheet metal for the same reason as above.

i also riveted mine...then welded the seems for added strenth
