Default blower instead of fan?

The fan i installed is not working that good. Its 5 1/2 dia at 1550 rpm mounted in the top of 2x3x6 oven with two elements in bottom and two in top.Oven still gets 75 degrees hotter at top.Without fan 100 degrees .Now i'm at blower verses fan.Seen a few posts about it but still not clear enough to make the move.I was thinking of mounting the blower on top with insulated duct running outside to vent in bottom.Does that seem like it would work? Not sure what CFM blower to use or if they can take the 400 heat. The one i was looking at is grainger #4mh09.Has an outlet of like 2 1/2 x 4.Just would like to make sure i'm on the right track before i start cutting holes in the oven. Thanks

If I were you, I'd leave the fan alone and move those top elements down to the floor (or as close as you can get to the floor).

Otherwise you're going to have to move so much air you will risk disturbing the powder.

That was an option i considered.Problem is,there's a insulated shelf that goes in the middle so that top half can be run by itself.About half of what i do fits in the top half.Had i had it to do over i would have placed the top elements on the side but at this point thats a lot of work.hoping solution can be found to move enough air with out blowing off the powder.

What about putting an inline switch to shut off one or both of the top elements when using the full oven.

Got kinda sidetracked with expanding bead blaster and improving spray booth.Getting ready to get back to oven. Thanks to this forum i found a high heat blower at electric motor warehouse for around 100 bucks.Gonna run a vent from top to bottom on outside.Gonna have to work out the baffles so as not to blow powder off.I'll let you know how it goes.
