My oven is DONE !!!!! Yeeee- Haa!!!!
Hi my oven is a success! Many thanks to all of you great people who posted info. My oven measures 6'x4.5'x4.5'on the inside. I used 1/2" Durarock cement board under the inside sheet metal and steel studs for the frame. The stud cavities are filled with fiberglass insulation -minus the paper facing. It will reach 400 degrees in 20 min. I used a duct blower fan from the heating and furnace department at Menards, and have not had any trouble yet with it getting to hot and/or overheating. The oven is cool to the touch on the outside, except at the top of the door seal. The front smaller door, interior ceiling light and burners are from a couple donor ovens. I used the previous posted wiring diagram from another member as a guide. I chose to have two separate circuits for the upper and lower burners, due to different wattages. I also took notice to links as to where to get my two contacts and thermostats. This oven has worked great for about 4 month now and is so fun! Please let me know if I can help anyone else with their build. I will try to post more pictures here, as a picture is worth a thousand words. Also I encourage any comments or concerns to anything I may have overlooked. Thanks again and happy powder coating! -Andy Seibel
