Cut the outside panels and leave about 1" or so at all edges, you would basically have a outer frame work left, like an angle iron frame, but only sheet metal. Then you need to clean out the foam in those corners also. Some of these it may be that the foam is the only thing holding them together and if so then as you clean a corner out add some support to hold the liner in place.

hello all, well today i am going to tackle more of the oven's foam removal, didn't manage to get much done last week.
the metal as you can imagine is very thin so will i need to replace it with thicker sheet? i will put in extra supports so it does not warp once the foam is removed.doing the removal from the outside allows me not to lose any of the interiors dimensions, but what about heat transferral with the thin metal and what thickness of insulation will be needed, the foam is aprox 1.5 inches thick.
