I built my 4x4x6 oven about a year and
If i remember right i used 18ga for inside floor, 20ga for rest of inside. 22ga. for outside. I think i had about $1400 total in it... You can find more info in my old post's

i used 26ga for the whole oven and 18ga for the floor. it has worked great for over a year.i think i paid 25.00 for 4x8 sheet. my oven is 4x4x6. i did a few pc jobs and it pay for its self.hope this helps

used 22 ga. galv. on the inside, 14. ga. on the floor & 22 ga. on the outside. 2" tube frame w/mineral wool insulation. Dayton high heat blower & this controller set-up. had just under $1k in it & about 50 hrs build time.

I used 24 gauge on everything but the floor. Galvanized sheet metal cost $46 for a 4X10 sheet(best price I could find locally). My inside dimension is 24X30X65 and cost around $650 to build.

I get Johns-Mansfield 1000' oven insulation for $1.06 per sq foot.
