Thread: What gauge sheet metal?

  1. What gauge sheet metal?

    3.5 deep X4.5 wide X6 high oven. What gauge do I need inside to stand the heat? I'm going to use propane burner on bottom heating 1/4" plate.

    I used 18 ga. on the inside of mine.

    im going to use 20ga, id say thats the minimum thickness you would want.

    i picked up 5 5x5 20ga galvanized steel sheets yesterday for $15 apiece!!!
