Thank you kg4mon for the kind words. I really did nothing special, just did what others did that inspired me to build an oven, and thought I would post my oven build. I am glad it helped you. Ask any questions you want.

I got my wire off ebay, Seller name: bigo1work . I choose 14 gauge wire. I got 50' of black and 50' of white...I hope it will be enough to do my 3 elements and my light....and paid .70 cents a foot. Here is a link to one of his auctions. It took about 5-7 days to receive the wire.

My door is finished other than high temp caulking the seams, and installing the 2 glass pieces. Oven door seal and hang door. Two of the elements are wired and ready to hook to the control panel, one more to wire. Light install next.

With my control panel balance payment complete, I am looking forward to receiving Ken's control panel. Found some heavy duty draw latches on ebay and won them (3) for .99 cents each + shipping. They are SOUTHCO DRAW LATCH, A1-11-902-31. I am going to use one in the middle, one a foot from the top and and same on the bottom of the door.

i originally wanted our door (which is 4.5ft tall) to have a push/pull latch, but due to a dimensioning mistake on my part (seal is tight on hinge side) i ended up using a draw latch. works like a charm. you might be able to get away with just one.

Hey Len. Yes it sure looks like I scored a quality box!!! LOL! I will try one latch in the middle of my door and if it pulls it tight, great! Can't wait to get it all together...I'm getting close.

Email him and tell him your needs and I sure he will quote you a price. kcenicola@aol.com Each control panel is individual and the prices vary. Mine is an SSR unit.

Outside oven sheetmetal arrived today along with 2" corner 90 degree caps. Metal is all 18 gauge inside and outside....so I hung all the sheet metal today. Ken's control panel arrived around noon so attached it to the side sheet metal to mark where the holes need to be drilled for the element wires/lights/theremocoupler. Drill and fish internal wires and hook up tomorrow. The panel, and this side of sheet metal with have to come down to get the wires through and then back up. Induced draft fan wires will run on the outside of the oven. Making progress feels good. Bright spot on control panel is the camera flash, lol.
