Thanks guys! I am keeping a list of supplies and costs. Will post them when I'm done. Hopefully my sheetmetal will show up today. I've still got to frame the ceiling then my plan is to lay it on it's back and screw a sheet of 18 ga to the bottom/outside of the floor and then install 4 locking casters...so it will roll when needed.

Thanks again! Got the ceiling up this morning. I am short one piece of metal to finish on the top right side. Gonna need a few more to build the door anyway, so no biggie. Bring on the sheet metal!

hey Gator--you might want to think about installing more strength on the ceiling if your planning on hanging heavy items.

I have given that a lot of thought. A removable steel sturdy channel will go from side to side up top but actually attached to the side sheet metal for hanging parts. For the heavy parts I am welding up a steel bakers rack that will roll right into the oven. The other option is to take the finished ceiling section that is sitting on top of the 3 walls and attach the 18 ga sheet metal to the ceiling and then re-attach it to the walls. So the 18 ga. would be secured 3 5/8" all the way around the 3 walls.

All/most supplies have arrived ...waiting on my sheet metal contractor to deliver the sheet metal. I will be building the door today with a nice sized window in it 13" x 20". Three 3100 watt elements will be recessed in the back and side walls. 842 degree wire will fire the elements. Gonna send Ken some $ soon to he can start building my control panel.

My sheet metal guy showed up yesterday and took all the measurements. He is going to pre cut all the panels in 20 gauge to fit and deliver them by the end of the week. I will drill and stitch all the sheet metal in place, then cut in the holes for the recessed element pans. Finished framing the door which now has a 13" x 20" viewing window. Ken is onboard and ordering my parts for his deluxe SSR control box. The wheels of progress are moving!

Oh...and Happy New Year everyone!!!
