Appears that you got things under control. Oven looks like it is about done. I've tied a couple of different fans. This is a link to the one I'm currently using. There are other styles. This one runs $7.95 + s&h. Take a look. A convection oven fan has been used as well. Good luck. JT

welp i fired her up last night........

She wouldn't get any hotter than 300F......but at least It IS well insulated, according to my sweet little laser thermometer the hottest it got on the ouside was 80F around the door seal, the rest of it was around 30F (air temp was 24F)
I got a nice little circulation fan wired to the oven light, so I got air movement. I DON'T have a vent yet......

I couldn't get both of the burners on at the same time Im think maybe I should wire them together so they are both on and it would heat to 400F?

My dimensions are 22"x30"x60" I'm running on a 220v 30amp circuit and can't afford to get a bigger circuit. What is the max wattage of an element can I get with this circuit?

First off, to find out how much you can put in your oven as far as watts are concerned. So in your case you would max out your 30 amps with 6600 watts. I don't think I would push it to the max. Figure as close to 6000 watts to be safe. You could get three 2000 watt elements or two 3000 watt elements. Or what ever combination you can to get you close.

The way to figure that is: Amps (that you have available) X Volts (that your going to power with, 220 V). It would look like this:

30 amps X 220 Volts = 6600 watts. Another way if you know your elements total wattage is: Watts / Volts = Amps. If you look really close at your elements you can see the wattage stamped into them. They also list ohm's.

Wire both your elements so they come on together and stay on. Once they reach the temp setting or a little before, they will settle down on their own and only cycle as heat is called for.

And sorry about no pics, I had to go out of town for a Funeral. But it sounds like you got your fan mounted okay.

Hope this all helps.

JTW37 For President 2008!!!!!!

wired the elements together, It heated up to 400 within half an hour (I am timing it right now to see exactly how long it takes)

I can't find the watts stamped on the elements, where should I look?
Also, where do you all think I should install the vent?

thanks alot!

Here is a link to the pics of the build
