I'm not sure about all possible scenarios, but if you're using a K type thermocoupler it connects only to 9 & 10.

Ed is right. You don't need a resistor. Terminal #8 is used only if you're using an RTD (Resistance Temperature Detector) like the Cu50 or P series thermocouple. For the standard K type, use terminals 9 & 10 and observe polarity.

i was wondering it says 380v do you have 380v or 220 from you meter to your control pannel i am wanting to build an oven and if any one has a list or pics of your contol pannel could you send me some thanks
