Curious, how big an oven you building and what wattages are your elements? If you are going to be running 5 elements on 60 amp circuit, you will need to know this. Then total all your elements and divide by 220 volts. This will give you your total amps you will be pulling.

As for the control box, there are two guys that I know of. One is on this forum, kcenicola. Look him up on the member list. Also a guy on EW, I don't know his name. Do a search over there for him or post your question there.

Yes, do a search for kcenicola, he built mine and I got it today and is fantastic. He did it pretty fast too. The workmanship is unbelieveable. I will put this link here hopefully it will work for you. Latest Oven Controller Pic

That sounds doable. At a 55A draw, that would be around 2640W per heater. I used 55A to give you a margin on your 60A circuit. The total draw would be about 13,200 Watts. (13,200 / 5 = 2640w per heater) I would use this for your upper limit when selecting heaters.

Forgot to mention: The margin you use will depend on how the 60A circuit is wired. If it's through conduit and whether the wire used supports the length of the run.

It would be best to contact ken and get a quote because mine will only run 3 elements 3100w and I think your wanting 5. In my opinion the price is very, very reasonable. The price would vary because of different controllers different needs. Thanks Rick
