Default Oven sealant

Where can I buy a few caucking sized tubes of hi temp oven sealant?Something paintable that wonts crack but not silicone as silicone is not paintable. This would be for the outside. Then where can I get some heat paint for the outside of my oven? It does not have to be high heat paint but just has to be maybe 400 degree paint. Not black and something I can buy in quart size.
Thanks in Advance

Get high temp exhaust manifold paint. I did inside and outside of my oven. I didn't use galvanize metal, so I painted. It has been fine. There is a high temp caulking, you can get at a hardware store that is not silicone. And they do have it in tubes. Can't think of the name and I'm in the house. But it's for fire places and wood stoves. Just make sure it's the smooth texture, as they do have a gritty one available also.

I got mine a ACE Hardware. If you don't have Ace in your area, you can order online, which is a pain. Follow the link to the type you want, I think.

I don't want to use spray cans as I think i can do a much better job using my professional spray gun.
I'm a little worried using the stove caulk as this is very brittle when cured and is not designed for painting over.
Thanks for your sugestions

If you're only painting the outside, it's not going to get anywhere near 400 degrees. If you want to spray it, I would use Rustoleum, not aerosol, but in a quart can maybe. It actually will hold up to heat fairly well.

There is also, one by Rutland that is good to 600 deg. It is rubberized. Works better then any of the other junk (brittle) I tried, BUT it has silicon in it or is silicon.

The link I gave you was a gasket type of gasket glue/sealer. Not sure it would work, but may be worth a try. I like the rutland. Haven't tried to paint it, cause I don't care if I have red seems showing.

Let me know if you come up with something else.

As for the paint, you may be able to find some in a can for spraying. But you shouldn't have to worry about the temps on the outside, as mine don't get over around 90 degrees maybe 110 on the outside.

I ended up going to Home Depot and they had this hi heat sealant in a caulk tube for $7.00 so I am going to give it a try. I also decided to use a 2 stage polyurithane for the outside as I belive it will handle the outside temps.
This should work.
Thanks to all

Question Re: Oven sealant

Would cured hi temp silicone sealer be a problem around powder coating? I have been sctaching my head on this one and I'm thinking it should be o.k. provided you cure it really well before using the oven to cure parts. Anyone out there tried hi temp silicone (like Permatex red or ultra copper) to seal their ovens?
