Why would you want to use aluminum anyway? I use galvanized.

Went to the local metal shop to inquire about the price of aluminum sheets (18 ga ). I told him what it was for & he's worried about warpage & that I should use steel. Also steel is about a third of the price of aluminum. Any opinions? TIA!

You're right. Ater being on Vicodins for 4 yrs., double shoulder replacement, my head's still a little foggy. Thanks
Steve
Aluminum works fine, but steel is cheaper. If you don't want to lay out some heavy bucks, go with the steel. Even plain steel as opposed galvanized, as it is cheaper yet and it works fine. 18 or 20 gauge is good.
