bigger oven
Hey all would one off those job site steel tool box work for a oven? They are made of pretty think steel. How would u go about turning into one? Could i take the stove I have and put all the parts on that. And than insulate it?

Ovens have been made from a lot of different things. I don't see why it wouldn't work. Yes you want to gut the oven you have and use what you can from it to make your oven. You should be able to get two heat elements from it and some of the wiring will work. You will need to add insulation, and a PID and either a contactor or a SSR to control it. There are several wiring diagrams on the site, just do a search and you will find plenty.
