Well a cherry picker dosen't work too well because it dosen't lift straight up, it lifts on an angle. My thoughts are to make a frame that will attach to one side of the base and on the top fab a yard arm to attach to it. I will then use a regular ol boat winch to raise and lower the box. The upright frame that holds the yard arm will also act as a guide to keep the box in line with the base.
I have a over head crane I could use but I don't want to use it for this project because I wanted this oven to be pretty much self contained where it can just sit in a corner when not in use and then when I'm using it I can just raise it spray the part and lower the top and walk away. Well maybe not that simple but you get the idea.
