Thread: Wiring question

  1. Re: Wiring question

The elements would be the same as down there, they're 240V. I was getting my household voltage numbers backwards with the 208v wiring we have here in our shop.

Where would you locate 3 phase 208 volt heating elements?

If you have elements that you are not sure what the voltage/wattage figures are do an ohms check on them to determine their resistance. From there wattage's can be determined based on the voltage you intend to supply them with.
same here in canada for residential it is 120 /240

in my shop i have 600 3phase and 110/240 single phase
the compressors, the heating, and the three buffers run on 600 , the ovens and dust collector on 240, and all the small stuff runs on 120 .
