woodjames Experienced Metal Finisher Registered: November 2007 Location: Rochester NY Posts: 424	This is a mix of paint and plate. Dupli color high temp ceramic gloss black, with clear. Center is obviously chrome. This piece was too big to do in the 4.5 gallon kit, at least to do it well. I tried using powder coat instead of paint, see the thread "mixing powder coat and plate", in the electroplating questions section for details on the process.

I meant to say, too big to do all of it plated, some of it stuck out of the tank.
