I refaced this metal Meyer 5J because the tip was too close. It's now about a 6 or 6*. I replated the entire facing several times to make the piece look stock again, but it most certainly isn't. I actually LIKE it now. I also tried to clean up some of the marks on the back where tooth pads used to be, but there seemed to be no discernible difference and I gave up.
