Default Using Masking Agent

I have some small pot metal parts I am preparing to plate with Copy Chrome. These parts have threads which I don't want to plate can I use the Masking agent on the threads to keep them from being strike coated and plated? If not what should I do to protect the threads?

Yes, use can use Mask-It or any lacquer to prevent areas from plating. Mask-It will peel off after plating. Lacquer would require a lacquer thinner to remove it after plating.
