Just thought I would show some of my work this week and see that I had my work cut out for me. Look at the hole in the one piece, I used the plum-loy (http://www.caswellplating.com/aids/fluxolde.htm) from caswell and then I used solder to fill in the main portion of the hole. THe parts came out ok considering what I had to work with.
