    Default Brush electroplating Kit Question

    I just recived my Nickel kit and I want to no if I can Nickel plate over Zinc? They are small parts so I am going to dip them. How long should I leave them in.

    I just received my nickel/copper brush plating kit last night. We dipped plated a penny in the nickel plate and it took less than a minute. Just experiment with it and have fun!

    I believe it will plate on zink.

    You need to copper plate zinc first, or the acid in the nickel will dissolve the zinc part.
