Default plating a Holley 4 bbl

I have a Holley 4150 that I have glass bead blasted to a shiny chrome like finish. Is this enough to do or will I need to replate with zinc prior to yellow dichromate dipping?

fishman yellow dicr. process is a dip mixed with water, after zinc plating, im no pro. but i know a little bit, first zinc plate after proper etching and cleaning then dip into yellow 2 step process. Hope it helps somewhat.
