If you double your dollars and buy the hyper smooth, it comes with the Multi-coat tip, and 4 pounds of powders (black, and white). They cover it for a 2 yr wty, and a 90 money back garantee. You can buy the 50kv unit now for that price new..... so he's giving nothing up for that price. (unless argon flange kits, which I know nothing about, are worth some major money....

Ummmmm,......... Lose the caps buddy. Most of us can hear you yelling at us (in our heads) when you go all caps.... and welcome to the addiction.

Sorry about the caps i hadnt realized that they were on until i had a couple lines already posted. I looked up the plug kits, they are about 100 to replace. Not sure if i would or could use them anyhow. He says he spent total of 580. I know that is about what the other system costs. Still not sure if i want to fork out the big money, i only have a regular oven. Maybe if i offer the guy 200. it might be a deal worth getting. May have a hard time justifiying the big money spent to the wife.

As with hand tools... the best tools you can afford is the best option. If you can afford it. Buy the better one.

It's a comparison between Taiwan Tools, and say ... Craftsman tools. A huge step in quality and reputation,.... but not quite as great of quality and reputation as Snap-On-Tools. You will ultimately be able to perform the work more effectively with the better tool in ny case. Sometimes that better tool means confidence that you can perform the job better.....

I had to look them up on the computer, but they are plugs that are different sizes. Like you would use them say to plug the holes on control arms ect.

oh, i see... argon is the brand. $200 would be reasonable for the plugs and gun, so long as the gun is in good shape. they don't last forever. we went through a non-adjustable, then the 50kV adjustable before upgrading. took quite a bit of abuse through daily use.

Just getting into pc'ing I would say get it. As you progress you may find you don't want to mess with pc'ing. If so then your not out a whole lot. If you like pc'ing and pick up a few bucks on the side, then do the upgrade. JMO.

Well i cut the deal i got the gun and the plugs with shipping for 210. not bad, my wife wouldnt have gone for the 500++ other gun. He had some powder that i wouldnt have ever used, so he deducted it from the price. So that knocked down the price of shipping also. I believe this will be a big upgrade over the eastwood gun i have. I have lots of powder from eastwood so im good to go. I had a bunch of parts powercoated for my front end. and the guy used the same gun im getting. Thanks everyone for your input.
