Old news...... There has been no legal battle over anything so far, except the trademarking of the name "HyperSmooth"

well i plan on purchasing a hype smooth system soon, i should get it from powder by the pound then, no?

I'd recommend Powder buy the pound also.... yes. I bought one from each of the sellers.....

I purchased mine from Columbia for almost 1,000 dollars,now they are selling them for less then 500.00 dollars,are the guns the same?

The gun is the same, the tips are not,.... The PBTP gun is very similar to the old CC one.... as it has the large black ring and larger ID holder for the MC nozzle.... all of the electrical supposedly has been updated though....

as far as i can tell on my units the guns and the electricals are the same . only thing different is the price tag either way for 500 bucks its a heck of a gun
