Shoot cold. Use normal concept for shooting, just enough coverage to cover completely, not too thick.... careful with the thickness.... maybe do a practice piece for comfort...
The chrome piece needs to be completely clean of all waxes or polishes. I usually clean chrome pieces with denatured alcohol. Use powder free nitrile gloves to handle the part as fingerprints show through the transparent powders. EVERYTHING shows through them..... Just clean, shoot, cure. One of the truly most simple coating jobs you can do. Well..... unless the spring is an issue to you. But they cover really well, pretty nearly in one pass for the entire spring,.... Powder wraps around the coils without much effort too.
