    Default ed_ednu PID qwuestion

    Hi Ed
My question is about hooking up a PID to my house (garage) pc oven. I use it quite a bit, but controlling the temp is really getting stupid. I basically have to baby sit the thing. I was thinking that if I could hook it up with a PID I could control it much better. I know there was a thread concerning the same thing, I just can't locate it. Can you help me out? Would you need the diagram from the stove?
    Thanks, JT

Seems expensive, but I recommend going for a Ted's control box and wire it to the element in the oven.....Maybe he can do a cheaper one for you since you only need the one element running...... BUt you could go ahead and buy the full box and be ready for that build later on. I realize I'm not Ed,....

That's okay if you aren't Ed, he probably appreciates it. I already built 2 ovens and use them. Not sure I want to tackle another, right now anyway. I just use the house oven when I have small stuff and don't want to fire up the big boy's. Thanks though. I had thought about Ted's.
