    Default Metallics are killing me!!!

    just did 2 jobs, charcoal metallic and gun metal metallic, both came out blotcy where you can see light and dark ares. what am i doing wrong with these. I do solids fantasic, just not metallics

    Can't say what, if you are doing something wrong. Have you tried pulling the part early and checking for that? If you see any spots try spraying where it looks light (maybe)?

    Are you using an LED light ? I use an LED light and shine it on the part and it will show any light spots that you missed while shooting !

    What kv's, psi, and gun to part distance are you shooting at? Also, what gun?

    have not tried an LED light.... 50Kv, about 8 PSI, 10 inches maybe, caswell 50Kv gun

    With the Caswell 50 kv (which I still use from time to time) adjust the air to 15 or 20 psi then on the butt of the gun control your air flow from there. See how that works for you. I don't have any issues with metallic.
