hey Caswell.....don't you guys have a poly clear with a tint that does just this? I don't wanna say go to brand X because I'm sure you do. Newbie....I don't know what your applictation is...but I would think that a nickel plate and then a poly clear brass tint would get you the effect which you seek. (more info kinda needed. What is your substrate intended for, inside/outside use, strictly aesthetics, somewhat functional, chemical resistant, etc). While not true brass....it may be closer than a brass pigmented powder with a high-gloss. Hope that helps a little.
