    Default Fitting

I have a Redline gun I bought a few months back and now I am ready to start PC's some parts. I realized the fittings state a 1/8-28NPT fitting is required. I didn't think NPT was 28TPI. Anyone know where I can get this fitting online from? Nobody local has anything close. Only comments I have found is that the 1/8-28 may actually be British type threads?

It should say 1/8 x 27 NPT - it's a standard air fitting, available at any hardware store (Home Depot, Lowes etc)

They're defiinitely some metric type of thread. The seller of the gun should be able to point you to a place to find them, or sell you the correct fiting to make everything work. I know PBTP was aware of this kind of fitting issue at one point in time.... There should be a change in the part if they're going to sell them in the states,... but fat chance on that.

I bought it from Caswell that is why I posted here, figured someone may have run into the same issue.

Lowes/Home Depot do not have that size, at least in the stores around me.

I understand that then..... The guys at PBTP will gladly sell you the fittings you need.... I have heard both fittings types I think, but I have seen others have the issue with the odd threads.

I totally missed that this was a Caswell post If it is 1/8x27 I can order one from McMaster Carr.

Looks like I contact PTBP.. Sent a note to Caswell but no reply, the threads are definitely not 1/8-27NPT. Order a fitting and it will not fit, 1/8-28 is correct and not common for the States. The fitting should be included with the gun sold in the States.
