Like Stytooner said, it will most likely be operator error, not equipment failure. Practice on some junk parts first. Don't learn how to powder coat on prized posessions. Learn on scrap. Sand blast and prep your parts carefully, have everything planned out, and you'll do fine. The gun will work fine for what you want to do. Don't cheap out and try to use space heaters to cure powder. It just won't work.
