This is my first day here and only second post, so I figured pics would come next. I have a small area right now but have been happy with the results to date.

I want to build a spray booth and a larger oven very soon.

Hi,

I just started powder coating a few days ago. I'm trying to restore a 48 1.5 ton Chevy. I just put together an inexpensive spray booth you can take down or set up in just a few minutes.
I used PVC pipes slid into each other (no glue) and 4 mil. painters plastic drop cloth to cover. The table and base is an old garbage can which has a box fan on top for ventilation blowing down and dryer tubing at the bottom of the can to vent the dust out. The filter is on the fan also serving as a table top. At the top of the booth I have a 1x6 with three hooks which hold my projects. All three hooks are connected by grounding wire and I just hook the grounding clip to the wire thus enabeling me to do 3 items at once if needed. I will try and get some photos.

Aloha,

Keoni

Pictures of my setup

My home made booth, foil covered foam board, an A/C filter and an old vent-a-hood.

My home made 6'X3'X3' electric oven.

I also have a blasting cabinet from one of the popular cheapy tool companies.
