Default Bare Cast Iron Look....

What powders do you recommend to obtain a bare, unfinished cast iron look? I tried a satin clear, but it gave the part a 'glass' look, with too much depth. I'm primarily coating parts for auto restoration, like drivetrain and suspension parts...
Thanks!

Default Still Looking....

Still looking for a powder to give a nice, bare, cast-iron look....I've since tried the Brushed Nickel, but it looks too bright. Does Caswell carry the 'Aluminum Epoxy', IF0925?
Recommendations?
Thanks,
Walt

toy maker whats with the personal e mails. i thought the idea was to keep everything on the forum so that it was available to everyone? the idea here is to build a searchable data base for info. you know, let the newbies learn from all the mistakes. i'm not tryin to give you a hard time but we all need to stay focused on how a forum works. nothing could be worse than searching for info and finding this thread and then to find the answer was emailed and not posted. this goes for everyone. jeff

Yes, but I have a feeling that He will be sending you a link to a different companies web site and he does not want to do that on Caswell's own message forum.
