Default someone please put my mind at ease

hey all, i just purchased my gun and some supplies from caswell. i was all excited and tracked my order everyday until it arrived today. when i received it everything was there except the system itself. the invoice indicated that the system was supposed to be in the box but it was not. it was too late to call caswell and see what the deal was so now i have to wait until monday to call. AHHHHH!!! i was just wondering if anyone else had this happen and what came out of it. i sooooo wanted to get started. very disappointed

I actually just received my system a couple of days ago and everything was right on the money. I ordered they PC system along with three different types of powders. The three powders came in one box and the gun and cups along with the power supply in another box. Sorry you didn't have the same experience. Since I deal with purchasing alot with the company that I am employed by, I can tell you that it is not uncommon for a packing list to be incorrect. Check the list to see how many packages was sent. They may have sent out two or more boxes and the postal system has gotten them separated for some reason.

thanks for the reply. the box said "box 1 of 1". i have no doubt that i will eventually receive my gun and understand that mistakes happen. so i have no ill feelings toward caswell. i was just curious if this was normal or if i was missing something (hehe other than my gun of course). i also called ups to see if maybe there was more than one but they told me no there was just one. i am so excited to try this i can hardly stand it!

I can tell you it is a new addiction for me. It is also one that requires alot of patience when it comes to cleaning parts. If I new then what I know now, I would have started preparing my parts for PCing the day I placed the order for the gun. In the end, when I seen the finished part, it was worth the wait.

Please do call us on Monday. It's entirely possible that our shipping dept made an error and didn't send the gun. Mistakes do happen, but we'll do our best to make it right.

Default For what it's worth

For what its worth, when I ordered my triple chrome kit from Caswell's, it arrived with the chrome anode on backorder. They bent over backwards to get the situation fixed ASAP, and I have no doubt that if you give them a fair chance, they will do the same with you. Good luck with it.

I called this morning and my gun is on its way! I am once again all excited. This really worked out pretty well. I got two emotional highs for the price of one. It should be here Thursday. Thanks to everyone who replied. It made my extended wait easier to get through. And thanks to the folks at Caswell, they were very professional and quickly fixed the situation. I am sure i will be posting more int he future as I learn how to do this.
