Default hi-temp silicon

While back I asked if you could use Hi- temp silicon in the squezzzzze tube for masking...this is the responce I recieved back from Loc-tite...

Wayne,

Thank you for your inquiry. While the high-temperature silicone will
withstand the temperature, the adhesion may be more than you want. You can
try it, but often baking a silicone can make it tougher to remove later.
Mineral spirits can be used to swell up a cured silicone to remove it.

Regards,

Cathy

so now ..I gotta play.....

Silicon will contaminate most powders and ruin the final finish.Manufacturers recommend storing epoxy, urethane, or polyester in a silicon free environment. Good luck but don't be suprised if it works as a mask but contaminates the near by powder.
