Default Any brand name powders to stay away from?

Just wanted to know if anyone knew of any brands or types of powder to stay away from that they have had bad luck with.

I haven't had any problem with other powders, but prices vary a lot. A certain catalog and retail tool chain sells powder for $9.95 for 8 oz. Here at Caswell, you'll usually get it for half that price. As long as the powder you buy isn't "old stock" or been improperly stored, it should work fine.

Bud:

I can't list any manufacturers to stay away from, but I can comment that some make much more forgiving coatings than others. Some are geared more for large volume (appliance), cheaper (more fillers) products and other are geared more to smaller volume, high quality, large selection applications. Do your homework when you start really spending $$ on materials. Price is often an indicator of quality and complexity of the formulation.
