I just ordered my powder coating kit a few day's ago and waiting on it's arrival. My question is do you really need a booth for small part's that will fit into a household oven? My work area is clean for the most part, never done anything like this before

You shouldn't have any problem. The key thing is in the prep work. Make sure you have CLEAN parts. Between prep and transferring into the oven after you have coated the part, spraying the powder is most definitely the easiest. You'll enjoy it, i have no doubt about that. The most amazing thing about the whole powder coat thing is watching it flow out. Good Luck!!!
