Using Harbor Freight Gloss Black powder.
Seems everytime I try to re-coat I get an orange peel. I am coating small motorcycle parts such as aluminum master cylinders etc. I am using a small toaster oven set at 425 F for both coats. After melt I leave them cook for about twenty minutes. Reading this forum it seems I am coating too heavy. I coat the second about the same as the first (or so I think). Bottom line. Is over applying 'the only way' to get the peel affect? This has happened three out of three attempts. regards |
