Default newbie ?

first off this forum is great theres just so much information. thanks for everybodies input. now for my ? do you need to prime before PC or does the basecoat act as a primer?

bzer1 is an unknown quantity at this point

No primer needed. I have however in the past used a phosphate primer on parts that will be constantly exposed to the elements. Ocean going boats can make good use of phosphate primer. It's not hard to work with but, it should be very thin.

So no primer needed on things like rims, swing arms, frames, etc at all?
I have the same question and keep forgetting to ask this one. If I don't then could I and if I did then will the powder hold better?
