Default Compression side Turbo Question
The compression side of a turbo does not get anywhere near as hot as the Turbine/exhaust side. Does it stay cool enough that I could powder coat it?

Per a email from Caswell: About 350 deg F sustained temperature.


WOOT!!!! I Hate this support I get on this board and the company. Ruins me for all those other companies that suck at both support and customer service :P

i have seen afew sets of cold sides done in power coat and look good with out problems to them.

here is a pic on a turbo charger that i got from a member says he put 8k miles on it and nothing is wrong with the finish so far...
